Stefan Filipkiewicz, master of modern landscape
Stefan Filipkiewicz, a Polish artist from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, established himself as a refined interpreter of Central European landscapes. Influenced by decorative art and chromatic research of his time, he blends naturalism and stylization to create views that are both contemplative and dynamic. His career, marked by a keen sense of composition and a rich palette, brought him closer to movements that sought to reinvent landscape representation.
