A Smithsonian work from about 1926

Alice Pike Barney made Study of Head around 1926. The original is an oil on mineral board measuring 31.2 × 23.5 cm, held by the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Gifted by Laura Dreyfus Barney and Natalie Clifford Barney in memory of their mother, it bears object number 1969.192.1.
