Discover the story behind this artwork
Explore the purity of graphic design with Essential Forms, a black and white poster inspired by the Bauhaus movement, where each visual element finds its place in a balanced and resolutely modern composition. This creation plays on geometric abstraction, blending quarters of circles, half-moons, squares, and arcs in perfect visual harmony.
Without color, without embellishment, this work demonstrates that the strength of design lies in simplicity and structure. The text "BAUHAUS abstract background" discreetly complements the whole, in a curved typography with modernist accents.
A tribute to geometric abstraction:
This poster is a direct nod to the Bauhaus style, whose graphic legacy is based on the deconstruction of forms and their recomposition according to a rational and artistic logic. The black modules on a white background evoke both the textile design of the 1920s and the principles of minimalist architectural composition.
Essential Forms is a timeless piece, as relevant today as it was in the era of the avant-gardes.
