Weatherboarding, irregular walls, chimneys, steps and a large lantern mark the perspective. On the right, a woman bends over a tub beside hanging laundry. Pencil lines remain visible beneath washes of ochre, blue, grey and green.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eOwen Merton in Cornwall\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBorn in Christchurch in 1887 and deceased in London in 1931, Owen Merton is particularly associated with watercolour.
